Pied Piper

This story has always fascinated me. The story of how over a hundred children disappear from the city of Hamelin. It's hard to say if they were really children or just residents of Hamelin. Because people who came from a city were once said to be children of that city. I've read several books and also seen several films or fairy tales inspired by this story. I even saw a musical.

Pied Piper was a big inspiration for some of my art pieces.

Charcoal on paper.

I created this image while researching and discovering this topic. Size A3.

Ceramics.

This is the first ceramic sculpture I have ever made. And I have never made any other sculpture out of ceramics before. I am currently focusing on other materials, but I would like to return to ceramics at some point.

Size 50cm x 30cm x 10cm.

Ink on watercolor paper.

Ink is my favorite medium. That's why I couldn't miss combining my favorite story with my favorite medium.

Size A4.

Oil on cardboard.

I am still working on this painting. Oil is not my strong suit, but I am trying to improve.

Size: 65cm x 55cm

Ceramic tile.

Here I returned to ceramics, but not as a sculpture, but as a tile. I liked the design in a deep frame so much that this picture hangs in our living room.

Frame size: 25cm x 25cm

Block print.

Another one from the picture that hangs in our living room. It is a linocut print in 5 pieces. Several of them are also in my e-shop.

Size: A3

Block print.

And other versions of the prints. I even have 2 x 5 prints of this design. A few are still in my e-shop.
